Who is responsible

DwellPath, operated by Kieran Norris, is the data controller. Questions or requests about your information can be sent to info@dwellpath.ie.

What is collected and why

The quote form asks for your name, email address, property address, Eircode and relevant property details so DwellPath can understand your enquiry, clarify the assessment scope and prepare a quote. A telephone number and additional details are optional. This processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a possible service agreement under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The information is not used for unrelated marketing or automated decision-making.

Please do not provide PPS numbers, bank details, medical information or other sensitive personal information.

How the form is handled

When you submit a quote request, your information is processed by contracted service providers used for website hosting, secure form delivery and business email. These providers process information on DwellPath’s behalf and may use authorised subprocessors.

Quote-request information is used to respond to your enquiry. DwellPath does not submit the contents of the form to a generative-AI model.

How long information is kept

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted from the DwellPath mailbox within 180 days. If you engage DwellPath, relevant client and transaction records are generally retained for six years after the end of the relevant accounting period. Information is kept longer only where required by law or reasonably necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

The transactional email provider is configured not to retain email previews and to keep delivery logs for one month.

Technical information and security

The hosting service processes technical access information, such as IP address, device and log information, to deliver and protect the website. DwellPath receives aggregate visitor and page-view statistics. To prevent automated misuse of the form, a pseudonymous identifier generated from technical request information is held in server memory for up to one hour. This processing is based on DwellPath’s legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and reliable website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

International processing

Some providers or their subprocessors may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, the transfer must be covered by an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another safeguard permitted by data-protection law.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, or ask DwellPath to restrict its use. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact info@dwellpath.ie to make a request. You may raise a concern with the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
